What are the costs?
The cost of the Web Site is determined on its content,
size, structure and general complexity. When created from "scratch,"
no two Web Sites are the same. Therefore, the total cost can only be
generalized. The cost really depends on what needs to be accomplished for the
Web Site creation. We can figure out a general cost for your whole project and
then each section can be priced individually and built step by step. This way,
you can improve on your original ideas as your site is being created. (see
Process for details)
We can utilize thousands of pieces of high definition
quality stock artwork which will save you alot on your budget. Each one can be
customized so you will not see it anywhere else. Or, if you prefer, your
graphics can be created from scratch. Keep in mind, custom graphic work is one
of the major costs to a Web page. Much of the content that you already have can
be scanned and utilized for your Web Site. Also, client supplied digital text
will greatly lower your cost.
We can also set your site up on a host for as little
as $7 a month.
When you're going to have someone design and implement
a Web Site, address the topic of copyrights. PageDesigning does not charge for
transfer of copyrights. PageDesigning gives you full copyrights to all your Web
pages. This means you can do with your Web Site whatever you want. You can make
changes and make as many copies of the graphics as you want. Or, implement your
site in multiples or any way you desire with no obligation. Some Web Site
development companies will charge an additional fee to transfer copyrights.
Another item to inquire about, is changes to your
site. Many companies have a minimum when making changes. Sometimes you may want
just a phone number or paragraph updated or reworded. Some companies charge a
minimum of $50 to $100
just to make a small change to your site. We charge as little as $5 per entry
to make a small change or update to your Web page. (sometimes no-charge for our
clients)
